Welcome to the World of Bezaar

Welcome, welcome, welcome! For a while now, I've been debating whether or not I should start this blog. But with the extra help and motivation from Brian- here I am. The Bezaar website is under construction, so in the mean time this will be a great way for clients and potential clients to view these beautiful works of art. This will also be a great way for many people to get a glimpse inside the hectic yet, "bezaar" world of a event design firm.

Bezaar Events is a full service wedding planning, event production and design firm headed by award-winning event designer Akeem Clayton. As one of Georgia’s premier wedding planning and design firms, we specialize in creating chic, innovative entertaining. We aim to cater to your guests in a way that will leave them both breathless and enchanted. A Bezaar event is not just an event, it’s an experience. An experience that will take your guests from their everyday reality and carry them on a journey into the world of “Bezaar.”

I really love what I do because I love being able to make other peoples dreams come true. At the end of the day, when I see my client smile, I know my job is done. My natural love for the industry is what help keeps me going. I have to confess.... Weddings are my favorite!

Lyndsey and Richard July 2008

Lyndsey and Richard were another very easy going couple. They were high school sweethearts and decided to get married after college. For this wedding, I partnered with a good friend of mine Mrs. Dionne Battle, CSEP of Plateau Event Productions. Plateau handled the planning & Bezaar handled the floral design and some decor elements for this Atlanta wedding. The wedding photography was done by David Christensen Photography.

Oh yeah, this wedding was also featured in the Winter 2008 issue of Flower Magazine.

Akira and Mark 11/30/2008

Akira was a very stern bride... She ran the show! I just did what she told me to :-)... She and Mark were engaged for roughly eight years. I'm glad they chose bezaar to make their wedding wishes come true. She was very happy! The ceremony and reception venue was one of my favorite Atlanta venues, The Biltmore Ballrooms. They're simply stunning! The red is BOLD and it worked really well. You have to take some chances. This wedding was shot by one of my favorite photographers Kecia Stovall with Atlanta Media Works.

Carmen and Xavrae's Wedding 03/28/2009

Carmen and Xavrae were a really easy going couple. He was so happy on that day! He looked like someone painted on his smile. They both said that this was the wedding of their dreams. The reception venue was especially challenging because it looked like a big ball of NOTHING prior to its "bezaar transformation." I was very pleased with how it all turned out. Here are some before and after shots of the reception venue.
